Fourth of July

For the Fourth of July we went to Westview High on Friday night and Poway High on Sunday night to see fireworks.  I love celebrating America...God bless America!

Flowers

After working for Twigg Botanicals (twiggbotanicals.com) for the past three years where I was taught to arrange flowers by the incredibly talented Robin Mathis, I made my first attempt at arranging flowers on my own for an engagement party...

The Battle Continues

My nemesis, the Blog strikes again...after working hours and days on updating my blog I finally added my new posts around 1:30 in the morning only to find out that the posts are a complete MESS...Aaaaaahhhhh! So now I get to work on fixing my messed up blog...I will defeat you Blog! Better yet, can't we just get along and be friends?!

Any advice on how to add photos and text without the text ending up in random places and on how to not have a ton of empty space would be greatly appreciated! Help me my blogging friends!

My Nemesis...the Blog!

My blog has been my nemesis for the past few months. I have thought about my blog almost daily and how far behind I am in my posts and how badly I want to get caught up. I would say, "Tomorrow I will update my blog", and then tomorrow would pass so I'd say, "Today I am for sure going to work on my blog", and then today would pass without any work being done on my blog.

I honestly have been planning on updating my blog since February but life and the craziness of FOUR children happened instead. My blog became my nemesis...I felt like if I could only get my blog updated then that would mean I was in control of my life. So, months have gone by with me feeling defeated by my blog...until today! Today I am triumphant...my blog is officially updated! Yay me!

Easter

The Easter Bunny visited our house AND Grandma's house this year! We first went to church to honor the Savior and the true meaning of Easter. Then we celebrated at Grandma and Grandpa Boles' house with our cousins, The Powell's whom we adore! Church, family, and candy...Happy Easter!

Wiggin' Out!

My dear friend, Brenda is a survivor! She has battled breast cancer and won! In honor of Brenda and to say goodbye forever to cancer we put on wigs and "wigged out" at Brenda's "wiggin' out" party. We had a great time dancing the night away!

I love you, Brenda. You are such an amazingly strong woman...you have to know how strong you are by now! You are also such a caring person and a wonderful friend. You hold a special place in my heart. Here's to a healthy and happy future!!!

Remember ladies...self-check and get your yearly exams!!! Support breast cancer research! No more cancer!!!

My Birthday

My birthday was made special this year by my wonderful friend, Jenn who held a luncheon for me at her beautiful home. Thank you to Jenn for being the "Hostess with the Mostess", to Karalea and Susan who traveled from Los Angeles to be there and thank you to all of my sweet friends who showed me love by partying with me!!

That evening thanks to our friend and neighbor, Kerrin who watched the kiddos for us, Matt and I were able to go out to eat at Claim Jumper. It was the perfect ending to a wonderful birthday!
